Easy, Hands-on Process

Everest Strategies can help your small business overcome obstacles and get to the next level by working with you to identify and address those growing pains.  We are very hands-on.  Depending on whether we are addressing a specific problem or providing a more comprehensive growth plan, we will lead you through the basic steps below.  It may look simple, but we employ many tactics and business practices from multitudes of business professionals inside each of these steps.  We have been through a lot, so we can lend our experience in growing businesses so you can jump over the learning curves that many growing businesses spend time (and money) going through.

Step One: Fact Finding.

First, we'll meet with the executive team to understand their goals and objectives.  This entails creating a 90 day, 1 year, 3 year, and 5 year overview of objectives.

Next, we'll create and articulate what the Core Values of the business are to provide a focal point for any solutions down the road.

Then we'll identify what obstacle should be addressed first that will contribute towards meeting the goals and objectives outlined.

 We will interview both executive staff and employees to get a full view from top-down and bottom-up as to how they view these obstacles and what stands in the way to solve them.  This will give us insight into any culture issues that may need to be addressed.  It may also uncover other issues that may need to be addressed ahead of the issue for which we were brought in.

Step Two: Prioritize Issues

Next, we'll work with the executive team or leader to determine what should be addressed first.  It is not uncommon to find that the issue we were brought in to address may be a symptom of a different issue OR that we uncover a larger obstacle that has a greater sense of urgency to fix.  We will help to determine what we should work on, and in many cases even more importantly, what we shouldn't work on.  

Step Three: Build a Plan

We'll create a written plan for review that defines the issue and creates a plan of attack for addressing it. This plan will include some timeframes as well as expected KPIs to implement so we can know what success looks like.  We'll utilize a myriad of tools that may span multiple departments, management techniques, and technologies in formulating this plan. This may include coaching, technology, workflow analysis, financial analysis, and marketing analysis.

Step Four: Execute the Plan

We are with you every step of the way. We can help implement the plan, provide coaching where and when needed, and create and monitor the KPIs.  We'll manage the project implementation and report out on progress side-by-side with your team. We can give you tools (such as HR review forms, data mining tools, and financial models) so that you aren't creating things from scratch. We leverage our experience, processes, and tools to move your business forward, faster.
